Founded by Jules and Deni, this community aims to bring joy, connection, and a love for dance into the lives of everyone who joins.

Jules’ dance journey began at 16 in London, where her early love for Latin music blossomed through salsa and later, Argentine tango. Once she was introduced to Forró, a captivating Brazilian dance, it opened up new horizons and filled her evenings with joy and deep connections.

Deni, with his Brazilian roots and a natural flair for rhythm, has been dancing since he could walk. His dedication to Forró and his community is infectious, bringing smiles and energy wherever he goes.

In February 2024, Jules and Deni met at a Forró social event in Brighton, and their shared passion sparked the beginning of something special on and off the dancefloor.

When Forró Family Brighton closed its doors, Jules and Deni embraced the moment with enthusiasm and launched Forró by the Sea. With the support of talented Brazilian dancers and teachers, they embarked on a mission to keep the vibrant spirit of Forró pulsating through Brighton.

Beyond the dance floor, Jules raises her teenage daughters and supports her clients through transformative well-being coaching and rejuvenating retreats. 

Deni contributes to Brighton’s charm, working tirelessly to keep the city clean and sparkly, plus also supporting his local Brazilian community.
